A Change Is Gonna Come

Have you ever felt as if something big was going to happen? Something life changing? Something that is going to move you out of your comfort zone and turn your life upside down? Me, too:)

For about a year now, God has laid something on my heart. I hesitate to share it here because wouldn't the devil love to interfere? I won't give you specifics, but I know this is from God as it is fastly becoming a passion. It consumes my thoughts. It has been a passion before, but I have always brushed it aside using the excuse of "This can't be God. It must be something I want to do".

So, sisters, I ask for your prayers as I begin to lay my desires at His feet, become obedient to His call, and wait for His timing.

I can't wait to share more with you!

Having your life turned upside down is not always a bad thing.

Being comfortable is not about God. Being stretched is - as long as it aligns with His word. So, when are you two getting married? ;)

I do not like to be comfortable, I remember a time in my life when I hated change. And now I am like bring it on. God only wants the best of us. FAT- faithful, available and teachable. You are all three and God knows this. You will do great, because He is your guider and protector. I can not wait to see more from you. love ya

Oh, Lori. You are such a funny girl! Now, if I was to marry him...it wouldn't 'align with His word'.....would it?

What He is calling me to do very much aligns with His word. Otherwise, it wouldn't be His calling:)

Tanya,

You are sooo right. I used to be afraid of change, too. I find that the more I am in God's word, the less afraid I am.

I am sooo looking forward to sharing more with you:)

Kudos for paying attention to those little nudges. If we ignore them, they become big nudges. And if we still ignore them, we find ourselves outside the will of the Father. What an awful place to be. Thanks for sharing this with us.

A friend of mine once said, "Being totally dependent on the Lord Jesus, is the safest place to be." I agree with her. She said those words while waiting to hear the outcome of her daughters MRI. They didn't want to hear the words "Brain Tumor." Thankfully, she turned out to be just fine, and had nothing more than headaches.

Change is scary, but when you are completely and totally in His will there is nothing but excitement and thrills. Like Beth Moore says, "God did not say he'd give us peace like a pond" because that is dull, the Lord said "I will give you peace like a river." Can you imagine a white water set of rapids and you are in the boat with Jesus. He'll take care of us and it is never dull.

Thanks for visiting my blog. The Lord bless you, Kathi
